Welcome to Curriculum!

Academic curricula are primarily the responsibility of the faculty. At Southwest Tennessee Community College, the Curriculum Committee plays a key role in maintaining the academic integrity of the college’s curricula.

Serving as the representative body of the faculty, the committee assumes custodial responsibility for academic courses and programs. It reviews and makes informed recommendations on curriculum-related matters as proposed by faculty members. In carrying out its work, the committee collaborates with other nonacademic areas of the college to support shared institutional goals.

    Curriculum Management System

Curriculum is Southwest's electronic system for managing curriculum approvals. It streamlines and automates the process of reviewing and approving course and program changes, enhancing efficiency and transparency. This system supports timely communication about curriculum updates across the campus community.
